For our first Hotel Review, we choose to feature Tampa Bay Hotels! 

When it comes to the Bay....most people think WATER--

"-I want to be close to the water", "I want to be on the WATER"---"I want to be on the Beach if possible.... or, walking distance from the beach", but as Latin Times discovered, just because you are on the beach, doesn't mean that you are staying at the best choice of hotels!

Latin Times decided to put a few of Tampa Bay's best hotels to the test! 

THE GOOD........

Our first stop in "THE BIG TEST" was The Double Tree by Hilton, which is located in Tampa's Historic Westshore/Airport area....

THE BAD........

Our second stop in "THE BIG TEST" was The Alden, which is located right on St. Pete Beach....

the hotel website painted a very attractive ---but deceiving picture, highlighting 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, and most importantly, it was right on the beach.  

To us, it looked like paradise.... family friendly, a little pricey -but looked like a dream waiting to happen ---- we were wrong!
